You Give a Little Love ...
Colours - Pale sort of Greyish-Teal, Cherry Red, Black, White and Gray
Me a little paired back - at last! Loved the colours and knew how I wanted this photo to stand out so have only used small amounts of the colours. It's Lily again in another show - Bugsy Malone - if you know the show or the film I'm sure you're singing that song in your head now and you won't get rid of it. Lily was one of Dandy Dan's gan with a splurge gun - that actually fired silly string. Here she is mid-song and dance routine. The photo has a special effect on it which a friend did to only highlight Lily in colour.
To solve the case I did use all the colours - hardest to find was the pale sort of greyish-teal. The Grey card with hearts on was a gem of a find as it's the packaging to some embellishments I had - I don't throw things like that away!
For evidence I used thread to stitch the buttons together and then hung them from below the card - meant I have my signature buttons here too, I've used something translucent - velum - there's plain cardstock background and I've used doodle dashed lines to highlight the title but it's also moving you along the song words.
My Testimony is in the velum pocket which has the song words typed on it - I've included a sheet of the song words in there too and a tag with a string that has some memories of the show that Lily and I have jotted down - like she remembers the dance routine and all the fun that the cast had.
Also based loosely on a sketch by Emma Stafrace.
