Tea Party?
Colours - Light Buttery Yellow, Bright Red, Black, Tan, Bright Sky Blue
Another LO for Case File #54
As I had so many bits and pieces left over from doing my first #54 Case File I thought I would do another using a very old picture of my Dad with his Mum (my Nan) who is no longer with us and her husband (2nd). My dads family are all BIG fans of Tea so it's no surprise there are tea cups there on the table. My Nan lived in Cornwall so we had our summer holidays there every year. (I've also now got a holiday home down there as the rest of the family still live there - aunt, uncle, cousins extended family etc) When we visited we always had Tea and Cake so this is what my journaling tells you about - it will ring true with my cousins as we mentioned it at a family party not long ago.
So to solve the case - I used all the colours in a different way to my first #54 as well. For the Evidence I used a lot of the co-ordinates which are so fabulous - there are punched circles, tickets, music pattern, teacup accent and blue string.
For the Testimony - I collaged some words together from the co-ordinates for Tea and Cake and also Handwrote it. It says " Tea and Cake at Nan's House. There was always tea & always cake. Fruit cake. But Nan could slice it so thinly that it was see-through & you were lucky if there was any fruit in it! Thank goodness for the Tea. "
I have also based my design on Em's wonderful sketch and I loved doing the layers and the banner.

Also I've co-ordinated the colours in the photo with the colour scheme Browns and Blues - I always seem to do this!
